HANOVER ACADEMY - Private Boarding School Est. 1927
THE MODERATORS:
BRIDGET - NEW MEMBER MODERATOR: The moderator in charge of adding new members to the communities, updating community information about characters, updating the taken / held page and updating the friends button. Deals with all posts and entries concerning new members.
SAM - CURRENT MEMBER MODERATOR: The moderator in charge of events and journal upkeep. Deals with scheduling, event planning, character and member sweeps and warnings.
LIZ - MEMBER CONFLICT/QUESTIONS MODERATOR: The moderator that deals with general questions and concerns in the community, as well as IC and OOC conflict.

SCHOOL COMMENT: Established in 1927, Hanover Academy has been an elite private education institution for over seventy five years. The school had been founded by Edward Hanover, and it achieved success as a finishing school for girls from wealthy families. Since then, Hanover Academy has evolved into a boarding and academically - focused school, set on educating the generation of tomorrow ( of both sexes ) with their morals and values still intact. A strong focus is placed on academics, athletics and arts, pushing its students to over - achieve. The teachers, similar to students, graduated at the tops of their classes from Ivy League universities. They teach small classes in intimate settings over a wide variety of courses and electives.

The main community. All members are given posting access, but no threads under any circumstances are to be posted here. Only : invitations, questions, mass e - mails, etc. This acts as a message board. Please note that this community it IN CHARACTER!

A community where threads that take place in either dorm are posted. They can be in the Boys/Girls lounges, bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, etc., as long as they take place in a dorm building. Phonecalls and e - mails between two people are also posted here. NOTE : not mass e - mails.

All threads that take place in the Rec Hall are posted here. Meaning, the Senior and Student Lounges, the cafeteria and the auditorium. All threads that take place on the lawn or in the parking lot should be posted here, too.

Threads that take place during class, just before and after should be posted here. Threads that take place in any of the school buildings should be posted here, too.

Any thread that takes place off the Hanover campus should be posted here. Whether the character is shopping, partying at a club or out for a drive in their fancy sports car, it must be posted in this journal.

STUDENT COMMENT: To most of us, Hanover is just a place our parents send us to get us out of their professionally highlighted hair. Most of us were sent here for a reason - trouble in school, illegal activites or to get away from the hounding paparazzi. Although it isn't a correction facility, our parents like to tell themselves we're being good little students and following the rules. Truth is, we're still having the same fun, if not more. At private school, there are temptations like you wouldn't believe. And when almost everyone is hot, rich, and irresistable, who can blame us?

But still, don't underestimate us. We were all born with excellent genes. You have to be smart and rich to get in - and to stay. If one of us slacks, see you later. Hanover takes its students seriously, and you've got to balance partying with work. And most of us are smarter than you think. We're conniving, pretty, wealthy little bitches. Be careful of what you're getting yourself into.
